With the help of modern machinery and new technology, steel processing is more efficient than ever.

At BridgeFab, we have embraced advanced processing technologies and machinery when it comes to steel processing. With new advancements, we now enjoy greater project efficiency, less supply chain concerns and a reduction in overall costs. Read on to find out more about the modern technology that we use, and how our steel processing works…

How has technology helped?

We have invested in new technology and machinery, which has allowed us to take on jobs with greater efficiency and reduced labour. The steel processing machinery that we use works very well with advanced drafting and imaging technologies. Put simply, information and data can be read by our new machinery and seamlessly translated into reality with increased accuracy.

While a draftsperson or site engineer would have traditionally had to take manual measurements to draw up a design layout to determine required materials, this is no longer necessary. Now, we are able to use advanced scanning and digital imaging technology to take a 3D snapshot of the site. This information can then be used to create a complete digital representation of the site. All of the data and information is fed to the new machinery, which then cuts and processes the exact amount of required material. This means that there is no waste or risk of human error.

Another benefit of modern steel processing is that labour costs are reduced, making the whole process much more affordable than other methods. With less need for labour and reduced risk of missing deadlines or overspending on materials, modern steel processing is now a highly sought-after technique when it comes to both large-scale and boutique construction.

What does the process involve?

Thanks to advancements in modern steel processing, we are able to complete the job from start to finish. This means that we can take on the overall drafting, processing and erection phases, which no longer need to be separated and can be much more streamlined than before.

With the use of modern technology and machinery we are able to complete large-scale projects, as well as boutique and architectural work. In fact, the visual imaging and scanning technologies can be used to draft and model almost any structure.

What kind of projects can we work on?

As one of the only advanced steel processing providers in Australia, we have worked on a broad range of projects. From hospitals and residential buildings, to education facilities and architectural and boutique buildings, we take projects from start to finish using high-quality materials. We offer a range of services, including drafting and detailing, fabrication and erection.

No matter your structural needs, we have the equipment and skills to help you complete your project. To find out more about what we do, have a look here. You can also have a look at a showcase of the projects we have worked on here.
