Our team of professionals is experienced in the field of steel processing and fabrication.

At BridgeFab, we are committed to providing excellent steel fabrication and erection for the Brisbane and south-east Queensland market. Our team is central to the success of our business, and our staff feels like a family. We would love for you to get to know the members of our team who will be available to help you throughout your project. Read on to find out more about a few of our key team members and what they do.

The director

Our managing director Anthony Ridout is the current owner of BridgeFab and has many years of experience in the structural steel industry. He works hard to change the perception of structural steel in the field, transforming it from traditional trade to one that makes use of cutting edge, modern technology. This commitment is apparent in the way in which our business is run — technology forms an important part of our process and we offer the most up-to-date software to ensure that fast and accurate drawings can be provided to our clients.

We have chosen to use 3D software because it allows us to work with incredible accuracy. This, in turn, means improved productivity, less risk of error, and fewer time delays. We also make use of steel fabrication management software, which coordinates work processes throughout the steelwork contract between departments, suppliers and clients.

The overseer

Daniel Marsh is both our 3D scanner and project manager and is responsible for overseeing each of our projects. As part of his job, Daniel will ensure that your project is detailed correctly in 3D. Thanks to his specialised training in 3D scanning, Daniel plays a key role in bringing modern technology to the building site.

When you begin a project with us, you will most likely meet with Daniel to discuss your timetable, as well as any possible issues that may arise throughout the process. As a project manager, Daniel will perform a design review with you and ask you any necessary questions about your plans. He will take the time to understand any unique features that you have in mind, as well as any critical dates that you have.

Once you have thoroughly discussed the scope and timetable of your project, Daniel will take on his role as a 3D scanner and draft a 3D model to accurately represent your project.

The hands-on man

Our foreman Brett Leard has many years of experience in the industry. In fact, he has worked for over 25 years as a boilermaker and over 15 years as a foreman. Brett has a long history with the company and has been with us since the current owners first took over.

Brett’s work involves managing a team and ensuring that our projects are fabricated and erected according to set deadlines.

The organiser

Dianne Carpenter is our valuable and much-loved office coordinator. She is in charge of our office and accounts, and thanks to her eye for detail, she makes sure that all of our administration matters are dealt with efficiently.

If you have any administrative questions throughout the course of your project, Dianne is the person to call. She is always happy to help and will do her best to make the process as stress-free as possible for you.
