We work through each project with efficiency and care.

At BridgeFab, our team is experienced and efficient. In fact, we have been in business for over 10 years, and are proud to provide our top-quality services to our clients all over Brisbane and surrounds. As part of our process, we have streamlined the way in which we work by following seven key steps for each project. Read on to find out what our process involves…

The preliminary meeting

Once we have sent you a quote, and you have decided to go ahead with our team, we will set up a meeting between you and your project manager. At this time, your project manager will take the time to discuss the timetable of your project with you and chat about any issues that could arise throughout the course of the work. Your project manager will also perform a design review to ensure that any potential risks are reduced and that your project can be completed with minimal fuss. Meeting with your project manager at this early stage often reduces stress in the long term, and ensures that all parties understand the unique features and critical dates of your particular project.

The drafting stage

Next, your project will be drafted. This occurs either in-house or may be outsourced, depending on the case. During this stage, your project will be drafted to ensure that all steel elements are detailed into a 3D model that accurately represents the final product. Great care is taken at this stage to ensure that the drafting process is completed with precision for the sake of overall accuracy.

The RFI process

Once your project has been drafted into a 3D model, any abnormalities or ambiguities will be identified. If necessary, your project manager will assist in coming up with solutions and alternatives to these issues, which may include missing information, or discrepancies between the architectural and structural drawings. Any issues will be resolved to ensure that all elements of your project remain on track.

The sign off stage

At this stage, all your project drawings will be submitted for approval. These drawings will act as a blueprint for the fabrication and erection of your project, and are extremely important. As soon as approval is granted, installation work can begin based on the drawings.

The installation

Once all the planning, drafting and sign off processes have been successfully completed, the installation of your project can finally begin. Installation will begin on a pre-determined date set by you and your team, at which point a professional rigging team will get to work. Your rigging team may be outsourced or internal, depending on the resources available for your project. Either way, your project manager will ensure that your project is erected efficiently, methodically, and safely for the best possible results.

The final inspection

An important part of any project, the final inspection and handover will take place only once your project has been completed. Before the handover, your project manager will discuss and resolve any last issues if there are any. Once you are happy with the final outcome, the project can be handed over.

Our warranty

As part of our service, we offer warranty manuals for each project that we complete. Our warranty guarantees workmanship for up to twelve months, so if you have any issues within this time, we urge you to get in touch with your project manager.
